Edgewood High School Virtual Clubs and Organizations

We are providing a variety of opportunities for students to participate in clubs in a virtual setting.  Additional clubs and activities will resume when we return to in-person learning.

Below is a listing of the clubs we currently offer, a brief description of each, faculty sponsors, and other info.  Please consider getting involved in one or more organizations here at EHS!

Black Student Alliance

To represent, discuss, and advocate for social and educational concerns related to race, and to encourage multiculturalism among the student body.

EdRising is for aspiring educators. It is an organization that does some community service (tutoring, mentoring, etc). The mission is to encourage, engage and grow aspiring educators.

Literary Magazine

 Mock Trial Team Ms. Shelley   Mock Trial is a teacher-sponsored, student-led team of students who are interested in law or in improving debate skills. Students compete against schools from Harford and Baltimore Counties in pre-scheduled trials located in district and circuit courts. Individuals are scored by professional trial attorneys and judges. Student leadership includes the senior members of the team who have demonstrated successful skills in the courtroom and in practice sessions.    2-3 times per week after school for 90-150 min. Virtual sessions will be held for the 2020-2021 school year. An attorney coach is also assigned to the team and will attend practices when available.  E-mail tyra.shelley@hcps.org

SAGA

SAGA will focus its efforts mainly on the education of issues plaguing the LGBTQ+ community and allied groups; the achievements of notable people who identify as LGBTQ+; and the inherent individuality of each and every person regardless of stigmas or stereotypes.

STARS

Build awareness of drug and alcohol abuse and prevent teens form making risky decisions. Providing resources for treatment and support for mental health awareness and drug and alcohol abuse.

1st Friday of the Month from 2:00-2:30
