3. Academic Eligibility

If you received an “E” on your 3rd Quarter report card you are ineligible to participate in extracurricular activities or sports for the remainder of the Spring 2023-2024 season. This is a result of your failure to maintain the academic requirements set forth by the Harford County Board of Education. Report cards will be available on HAC (Home Access Center) after 4:00 pm on Friday, April 12th.  You may not participate in any extracurricular activities unless an Eligibility Appeal is granted. This ineligibility period begins on April 15th, 2024.

If you would like your eligibility status reviewed, you MUST submit the Microsoft Forms Eligibility Request below by midnight on Wednesday April 17th. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE TO THE APPEAL PROCESS DEADLINE!

The Eligibility Meetings will be held in person on Thursday April 18th. A student’s eligibility will be determined at this meeting. If the committee grants your appeal, the student may begin practice following notification of a granted appeal. Students will be notified of the results via student HCPS email. Should the appeal be rejected, instructions for an appeal to the principal will be communicated with you. Decisions made by the principal are final. If there are any questions please contact Mr. Clemmer, Assistant Principal, as soon as possible.

4. Transportation Form

An Alternate Transportation Form, once approved, grants permission for athletes to be driven to or picked up from away games. Only persons listed on a students' emergency contact form will be approved to provide alternate transportation for a student athlete. This form also grants permission for an athlete to drive themselves to and from an away game.
